New Year New Who??
For anyone who needs to hear it 😊Tomorrow marks a New Year and everyone is likely reevaluating Health and Wellness goals. For my dear friend getting ready to start a fitness journey this week here are some tips and mantras

1). Look in the mirror and make a promise to yourself. Commit to your new journey because you want to take care of your internal body. Who cares about the vacation this summer, commit to feeling good and looking good on your vacation when you are 50. .

2). Journey is defined as “traveling from one place to another” - To make a lifestyle change you have to take it day by day. You will not arrive at your destination in a week or a month or 3 months. So buckle up and enjoy the ride!

3.)Get excited! Get new clothes treat it like a new place of excitement.Build a fitness wardrobe, I take mine VERY SERIOUSLY and it makes me so happy and feel good.

4.)Gym intimidation is a real thing but it will pass. I promise it will. Be consistent and follow a routine, before you know it you will be comfortable. Remember take it day by day 😊. Join a gym with classes and it will be easier.

5.)Be social- Say hi to people you see regularly learn names and build a community. .
.
6.)Nutrition- Please DO NOT go COLD TURKEY and start some strict diet tomorrow. Start with one meal at a time and just let things fall into place day by day. First identify the habits you need to undo before making new ones 😊.- I’m still unlearning bad habits 🤷🏽♀️ 🤦🏽♀️

Social Media is a real real blessing and curse. So be mindful who you are following for inspiration and who is making you feel less than or farther away from your goal. - Always remember everyday is a new day and fitness is LONG TERM ❤️
